Housekeeping Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at The Farndon Unit, a rehabilitation and acute inpatient setting for women with mental health and personality disorder diagnoses.
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitors' areas. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all areas are spotless and meet high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures.
- Be an active member of the team, contributing to the day-to-day operation and maintaining excellent telephone etiquette.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with all staff, visitors, and service users.
- Help create a positive culture and undertake any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
- Attend mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment.
- Enjoy cleaning and take pride in a job well done.
- Prioritize duties and responsibilities effectively.
- Be a good communicator and have good attention to detail.
- Be able to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
