About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Operative to join our team at Tarmac's Langford Sand and Gravel Quarry. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the weighbridge, plant operations, and administrative site/quarry tasks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operate the weighbridge and plant equipment safely and efficiently to meet production demands.
  • Provide administrative support to site tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with SHE policies and procedures, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Act on defects and raise awareness for remedial action to minimize downtime and maximize plant availability.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a high standard of housekeeping across the site to optimize production.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of weighbridge, quarrying, production, and administrative operations.
  • Good administration, numerical, and IT skills.
  • Good timekeeping and flexibility to meet site manufacturing requirements.
  • Good communication skills to bring problems to the attention of line management.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • IT literacy.
