Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to join our team as Assistant Head Teacher - SEND Support. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead the development and implementation of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) policy and provision in our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of SEND policy and provision
  • Coordinate specific provision to support individual students with SEND
  • Provide professional guidance to colleagues
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified teacher status as required under the SEND Code of Practice
  • National Award for SEN Co-ordination, or a willingness to complete it within 3 years of appointment as required under the SEND Code of Practice
  • Experience of working at a whole-school level
  • Commitment to equal opportunities and inclusion
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £63,815 - £70,293 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
