Adoption and Fostering Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Child Welfare Support Worker to join our Polaris Community team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child welfare and a passion for supporting foster parents and their families.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting foster parents and their families to provide a stable and secure home for children and young people.
- Monitoring the continued suitability and competence of Foster parents.
- Providing regular supervision to allocated foster parents.
- Working in partnership with the foster family, social workers, and other professionals to identify and meet the needs of children and young people.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
- A comprehensive working knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
- The ability to produce high-quality reports and documents.
- A full driving licence and confidence in transporting children and young people.
