Job Overview

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services. As a key member of the Transport team, you will be working closely with the Shift Manager to achieve delivery schedules and provide administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage transportation schedules to ensure timely delivery and escalation of any issues.
  • Utilize our transportation systems to allocate trailers and manage driver records.
  • Track and report on working time directives and driver infringements.
  • Verify vehicle arrival and departure times to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including updating driver records and training documentation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an operator or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage workload.
  • Confidence in working with various IT systems, particularly data management in Excel.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with drivers and management.
  • Knowledge of driver's hours and working time regulations is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
