Firsway Health Centre is a large, dynamic medical practice with a strong focus on patient care and team collaboration. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a General Practitioner to work 6 sessions per week, sharing our weekly care home ward rounds with another GP. The post holder will be responsible for patient contacts, administration, referrals, and home visits, as well as processing test results, patient letters, and prescription requests.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake a share of the practice workload, including processing results, patient letters, and prescription requests
  • Conduct patient consultations, administration, and referrals
  • Participate in extended hours provision on a pro rata, rota basis
  • Share weekly ward rounds for care homes with another GP
  • Supervise ST1/2/3 and Foundation Year 2 doctors and medical students in the absence of allocated trainers

About the Role

The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with our team of GPs, nurses, and administrative staff to provide high-quality patient care. We offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional development.
