About Firsway Health Centre
Firsway Health Centre is a large, dynamic medical practice with a strong patient focus, serving a diverse population of approximately 15,400 patients in the Cheshire area.
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Medical Practitioner to join our team, working 6 sessions per week, including sharing weekly care home ward rounds with another GP.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality patient care, including patient contacts, administration, referrals, and home visits
- Processing test results, patient letters, and prescription requests
- Participating in extended hours provision on a pro-rata, rota basis
- Sharing the duty GP role each day, including an admin session in the morning and on-call session in the afternoon
- Supervising ST1/2/3 and Foundation Year 2 doctors and medical students in the absence of allocated trainers

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Experience of working in primary care settings
- Proficiency in using IT systems
