Special Needs Learning Assistant

This role is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals at Academics Ltd. as a Learning Support Assistant for children with special needs.
About the School: Our client school provides a safe and inclusive learning environment for students with complex needs, including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Physical Disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to provide physical and emotional support to students, and maintain accurate records of individual student progress.
Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one support to students in lessons and activities
- Assisting with personal care tasks as necessary
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and development
- Participating in team meetings and training programmes to ensure best practice
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children with special needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Flexible and willing to adapt to changing circumstances
