Clinical Psychology and Learning Support Specialist

Academics Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychology and Learning Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be working closely with our team of experienced professionals to provide support and care to children with special needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology and experience working with children with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Physical Disabilities. You will be responsible for providing individualized support and care to children, as well as encouraging the development of appropriate social skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £85-100 per day, paid on a daily rate basis. This is a temp-to-perm contract, perfect for those looking to gain experience or start their career in the field of clinical psychology. Our state-of-the-art building provides a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students, and we are committed to ongoing training and professional development.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing individualized support and care to children with complex needs
  • Assisting with tasks such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Encouraging independence and self-care skills
  • Participating in team meetings and training programs
