Police Support Volunteer

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cadet Leader. As a Cadet Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting and mentoring our young cadets as they embark on their journey into policing.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide guidance and support to our cadets in areas such as police procedure, criminal law, and crime prevention.
- Participate in team-building activities and local community events to help our cadets develop their character and gain valuable experience.
- Work closely with the cadet team to provide insight into the many and varied aspects of policing and make our cadets aware of the role of the police in the community.
- Previous experience working with volunteers, young people, or youth groups is essential.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to motivate a team of young people to achieve a set objective is key.
- Any previous experience or qualifications in areas such as First Aid, sports, mountaineering, or outdoor pursuits would be great but not essential.
As a Police Support Volunteer, you'll be making a real contribution to the success of the organisation by bringing communities into policing and policing into communities. Using your spare time to do something worthwhile and that really makes a difference.
