Alternative Education Support Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Alternative Education Support Tutor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering alternative education pathways, supporting both practical and academic activities, and providing learning opportunities for socially and educationally excluded young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and learning delivery to support the development of young people
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with young people, providing a non-judgmental adult role model with a commitment to inclusive practice
- Working effectively in individual and team contexts, in conjunction with designated staff and volunteers, in accordance with flexible timetable requirements
- Providing consistent and comprehensive evidence of student participation in activities, including photographs, observation records, and witness statements
- Supporting the delivery of SMSC, Accreditation, and Maths and English sessions to groups or individual students
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young people, staff, and volunteers. You will also need to be flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
