About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Actuary with pricing experience to join our team at Unum UK. As a specialist employee benefits provider, we strive to create healthy, happy workplaces, and we're looking for someone who shares our vision.
Key Responsibilities
- To own Actuarial tasks, understand the broader business implications, and provide comprehensive insight into those tasks and their outcomes.
- To proactively liaise with the broader business, provide expertise, and guidance, and lead business thought in areas of expertise.
- To communicate confidently and effectively on technical topics to a wide range of audiences and influence cross-functional business decision-making.
Requirements
- Student or ex-student actuary with a high number of actuarial examination passes or significant experience.
- Highly numerate.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with business stakeholders.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and inquisitive.
- The ability to work under pressure, managing own time to meet tight deadlines and managing competing and conflicting demands within your workload.
