About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Actuarial Pricing Specialist to join our team. As a specialist employee benefits provider, we strive to create healthy and happy workplaces. This role involves managing pricing, reserve support, and reporting for our businesses.

Our ideal candidate will be technically strong, with experience in pricing and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Python or R is an advantage. The successful candidate will work on various projects, requiring analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • To own Actuarial tasks, providing comprehensive insight into outcomes and business implications.
  • To liaise with the broader business, provide expertise and guidance, and lead business thought in areas of expertise.
  • To communicate effectively on technical topics to diverse audiences, influencing cross-functional business decision-making.

The successful candidate will have a high number of actuarial examination passes or significant experience. They should be highly numerate, with good communication and interpersonal skills. Motivation, enthusiasm, and inquisitiveness are essential qualities for this role.

Benefits

As an Actuarial Pricing Specialist, you will enjoy a competitive salary (£65,000 - £90,000 per annum) and a hybrid working model. You will spend at least one day per week in Dorking and one other day in Basingstoke, London, or Dorking. We offer a supportive environment where you can grow and develop your skills.
