Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Manager to lead our Technical Trades departments, focusing on Plumbing, Motor Vehicle, and Electrical. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on driving excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.

Key Requirements:
  • A Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
  • A Level 3 qualification relevant to teaching expertise and leadership/management qualifications.
  • Current knowledge of the FE environment, including funding and government policy.

The successful candidate will have experience in providing excellent customer service, delivering and assessing across various curriculum areas, managing change, data, and QA processes, and curriculum planning and timetabling. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, proficiency in learning technologies, and mentoring/coaching abilities are essential.
