Production Administrator & Planner

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum plus bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a 1pm finish on Fridays

Location: Office-based

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Production Administrator & Planner to support our production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing planning, particularly in reviewing and managing work orders. Proficiency in SAP and Power BI is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Release and adjust expedited production orders outside the ERP process.
  • Monitor production progress, addressing delays and adjusting priorities as necessary.
  • Plan and level capacity, prioritising operations for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with production to assess manpower, equipment, and raw material needs.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements.
  • Coordinate production workflows for multiple products.
  • Enter sales orders and run ERP systems to generate daily manufacturing orders.
  • Compile manufacturing order documentation, including printing drawings, inspection plans, and data sheets.
  • Perform general data entry, administrative tasks, and handle inquiries.
  • Provide regular updates on production progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing planning and production administration.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
