BAM Nuttall is seeking a highly skilled Design Delivery Coordinator to join our team at HPC, Somerset. As a key member of the Roads and Networks (RAN) team, you will be responsible for coordinating the design requirements for permanent assets within the RAN scope of works.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with designers and other team members to ensure effective design delivery.
  • Manage project documentation, including client and third-party designer inputs.
  • Apply a holistic approach to design, considering Health and Safety, sustainability, cost, time, constructability, and quality.
  • Communicate complex information to the project team in a clear and concise manner.
  • Contribute to written submission materials and attend pre-construction meetings to provide a clear view of the work scope and engineered solutions.
  • Coordinate design and engineering activities through personal contact with key stakeholders and project team members.
  • Utilize engineering expertise to add value to the design development process.
  • Keep project management informed of activities and progress achieved.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring design programs.
  • Contribute to the design and project risk register.
  • Prepare material and submission documents to support planned engineered solutions and construction methods.
  • Contribute to the submission process, providing a clear view of the work scope and intentions of the designed solutions.
  • Identify changes and coordinate assessments of time and cost effects from client and third-party designers.
Requirements
  • High level of IT skills, including Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Autocad/Civil 3D.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in highly regulated environments.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • High level of organization skills.
