Job Summary

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Patient Records team as a Patient Records Clerk.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring timely and efficient retrieval and storage of case notes, and adhering to strict confidentiality and information governance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve and store patient case notes in a secure and organized manner
  • Enter data into the Patient Administration System with precision and accuracy
  • Maintain the integrity of patient records, ensuring compliance with retention and destruction policies
  • Update and maintain the case note tracking system
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless delivery of services to patients and staff

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with patient administration systems

Working Hours:

The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, with a variable number of hours depending on the specific role.
