Foster Carers play a vital role in the lives of children and young people, providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to grow and thrive. As a Foster Carer with Focus Foster Care, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team of Foster Carers. As a Foster Carer, you will be responsible for caring for children in your own home on a short- or long-term basis, working closely with our experienced social workers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Caring for children in your own home
  • Working closely with our social workers and other professionals
  • Supporting children to engage in activities and interests
  • Building relationships with teachers and key staff
  • Transporting children to nursery or school

Requirements:

  • A spare bedroom in your home
  • To be over 21 years old
  • An ability to drive or access to good public transport links
  • A commitment to training and professional development
