About the Role


Five Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled Specialist Teaching Practitioner to join our team in an SEMH Provision in East London. This is a temporary opportunity for a qualified teacher who can deliver high-quality education to a small class of primary and secondary-age children with mental health needs (SEMH).



Key Responsibilities


The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pupils in the classroom to make progress in their education, evidencing differentiation in all tasks, and implementing behaviour management tools. They will also help students develop self-regulation techniques and teach the curriculum using existing resources and their own initiative to engage pupils.



Requirements


To be considered for this role, applicants must have previous classroom teaching experience, a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa), and at least two recent child-based references and relevant DBS/ Police checks. Experience of teaching/supporting individuals with SEN/Autism/Complex Needs/SEMH is desirable.
