Job Overview:

The CP7 Western Structures Framework is a major project that involves the repair, refurbishment, and replacement of bridge structures across Network Rail's Western Region. As a key member of the Morgan Sindall Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing the construction site to achieve project delivery to the customers' objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control.

This role requires an ambitious and driven individual who can work within a high-performing and supportive team. Experience within the civil engineering industry is essential, ideally coming from a main contractor background.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct report experience is preferable
  • Rail and general civils experience
  • Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent)
  • Relevant CSCS card
  • CRE Accreditation (preferable)
  • SMSTS 5 days
  • Good knowledge of specifications and testing regime relevant to general civil engineering
  • Hands-on approach to the commercial and planning aspects of the project
  • Civil engineering and construction experience
  • Able to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings
  • Good IT skills and able to work confidently with MS Office and other system applications
  • Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations
