Senior Door Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Door Engineer to join our team at Work Lyf Group in the Carlisle area of England.

The ideal candidate will have BS/EN16005 accreditation and a strong background in industrial door works.

The role will involve:

  • Servicing, installing, and repairing industrial and specialist doors, including roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, and rapid rise roll-up doors.
  • Gates, bollards, and barrier knowledge is desirable.
  • Site attendance, fault finding, estimating repair requirements, fault diagnosis, and service calls.
  • Advising customers of potential equipment faults.
  • Attending surveys for repairs.
  • Maintaining personal van stock levels.
  • Accurate time sheet reporting, detailing jobs and travelling.
  • Completing reports, job sheets, and basic administration onto mobile tablets.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Flexible on working hours, willing to work weekends and out of business hours.
  • Physically fit and able to work at heights.
  • Hold relevant qualifications for industrial door works with previous experience.
  • Have good customer service skills.
  • Hold IPATH & CSCS, PASMA qualifications are desirable.

We are looking for a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, both internal and external, and a valid driver's license.
