About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Professional to join our team at Glenelg Primary School. The successful candidate will work 34 hours per week, delivering high-quality early learning and childcare services that meet the needs of young children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work as an effective member of a team, providing flexible and high-quality services to young children and their families.
  • To hold a relevant Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration or agree to apply to SSSC to register as a practitioner.
  • To work towards obtaining a recognised qualification in Childcare and Education, if not already qualified.
Requirements

The successful candidate should have:

  • A recognised qualification in Childcare and Education, or be willing to work towards one within an agreed timescale.
  • A relevant Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £21,317 - £23,350 (Unqualified) or £23,678 - £25,931 (Qualified), depending on experience.
