ESG & Sustainability Lead Job Description

Sustii is seeking an ambitious ESG & Sustainability Lead to spearhead the development and implementation of our company's ESG strategy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting a comprehensive ESG framework, guiding our consulting proposition, and establishing best practices in ESG and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a pioneering ESG strategy for our consulting proposition, aligning with market best practices.
  • Cultivate robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment and support for sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct ESG risk assessments, develop strategies to mitigate potential risks, and stay abreast of evolving ESG trends and regulations.
  • Establish data collection and reporting systems to analyze and visualize ESG-related metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into our decision-making processes.
  • Develop and execute client ESG/sustainability initiatives and strategies, focusing on Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions reduction.
  • Prepare reports on performance against ESG targets/KPIs for consumption by the business.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in ESG and sustainability roles, ideally in the Circular Economy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and sustainability best practices.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and data analysis skills.
