Ghosh Medical Group: Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Ghosh Medical Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our growing network of healthcare clinics and sister company Ghosh Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets
  • Monitor and reconcile supplier accounts, bank reconciliations, and petty cash reconciliations
  • Oversee the purchase ledger and monthly payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes to ensure compliance with UK accounting standards
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Manage and resolve internal and external financial queries
Requirements:
  • Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with at least 2 years' experience in a finance department, preferably in the private medical industry
  • Extensive knowledge of company financials and analysis of financial data
  • Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and IF functions
  • Knowledge and experience using medical CRM, payment processing, and accounting software (ideally Xero)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
