Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Allina Health. As a Critical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing life-saving patient care services in a pre-hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency calls and provide critical care to patients in need.
  • Direct care plans on scene and document patient information for receiving facilities.
  • Maintain and operate vehicles, adhering to driving laws and company policies.
  • Set up and use advanced medical equipment, including ventilators and IV pumps.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Vocational degree in a related field, or 4 years of experience in a 911 environment.
  • Certified Paramedic licensure, or equivalent, required.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a MN or WI license within 60 days.

Physical Demands

  • Very Heavy Work: lifting over 100 lbs occasionally, over 50 lbs frequently.
