About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Advisor to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our Organisational Development department, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and delivering learning initiatives that support our organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a range of learning programmes, including induction, communication skills, and customer care
  • Develop e-learning content and deliver training sessions to staff across the organisation
  • Provide support and advice to managers and staff on learning and development opportunities
  • Participate in strategic and operational projects and groups to support the development of learning and development policies

Requirements

  • Education to degree level and professional qualifications appropriate to the post
  • Experience in design, development, delivery, and evaluation of learning programmes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Good PC skills and ability to use Microsoft software to a high standard
