Application Support Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Application Support Specialist to join our dedicated team serving a major public sector client.

  • As the go-to expert, handle complex technical issues across a suite of applications, primarily Windows-based with some Unix components.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, estimate future work, and oversee technical projects such as application replatforming and Azure migrations.
  • Participate in an on-call rota, serving as an escalation point for critical support issues.
  • Proven experience in application support.
  • Strong expertise in Windows environments; Unix experience is a valuable plus.
  • Good exposure to networks and Microsoft tools, including C#.NET, ASP.NET, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, like PowerShell or Bash, is a plus.
