Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Specialist to join our team. As an Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for performing pre-sales demonstrations and post-sales customer training, onboarding new customers, and providing ongoing application assistance and support to end users.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Pre-Sales Demonstrations: Conduct demonstrations of our robotic liquid handling systems to prospective customers.
  2. Post-Sales Training: Provide training to customers on the use and maintenance of our systems.
  3. Customer Onboarding: Engage with customers to ensure a smooth transition to our systems.
  4. Application Assistance: Provide ongoing support to customers to ensure they are getting the most out of our systems.
Requirements:
  1. Background: A background working as a scientist or laboratory technician using DNA sequencing, tissue typing, or similar.
  2. Experience: Experience using automated liquid handling platforms and next generation sequencing (NGS).
  3. Automation Experience: Automation experience, ideally script writing.
  4. Problem-Solving: Ability to recognise and solve complex problems.
  5. Communication: Ability to communicate and understand the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
