Mayar Capital Ltd is a leading investment firm driven by passion and guided by purpose. We're seeking a highly motivated Junior Equity Analyst to join our global equities research team in London.

As a Junior Equity Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the investment team in all aspects of equity research. This includes collecting data and materials needed to perform research functions, developing knowledge of different industries, researching and analyzing companies and industries globally, building and maintaining financial models, staying informed about market trends and opportunities, and preparing regular reports on portfolio holdings and watch lists.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Passionate about investing and financial markets
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Desire to learn and develop
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Self-starter and self-managed
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including VBA)
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python is a plus
  • Understanding of and passion for investing is a must
  • Fluent in English with good communication skills
  • British citizen or settled UK worker with right to work in the UK

Salary and Benefits:

  • GBP 50,000 to 65,000 per annum negotiable based on experience
  • Bonus: based on individual and company performance
  • Full-time position working 4 days/week from our office in London and 1 day from home after successful completion of probationary period
