Culinary Operations Manager Job Description

About the Job

The Culinary Operations Manager will work closely with the head chef to develop and implement menus, ensuring that dishes meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and flavor. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Menu Development: Collaborate with the head chef to develop and implement new menu ideas.
  2. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of chefs, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  3. Financial Management: Assist the head chef in managing food costs, labor budgets, and other financial aspects of the kitchen.
  4. Compliance: Ensure that all kitchen operations comply with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and other relevant laws and guidelines.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Experience of financial budgeting within a Food & Beverage business
