About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Assistant to join our team at First Milk's Haverfordwest Creamery. As a Technical Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards across our site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Technical Department, ensuring Certificates of Analysis are completed accurately.
  • Manage cheese release processes under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Handle stock counts and salvage disposal.
  • Review and evaluate critical production paperwork.
  • Conduct regular Good Manufacturing Practice Audits with the Quality Systems Manager.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the Site Team as required.

Requirements

  • Completed education in science, chemistry, biology, or physics, or relevant work experience in a quality assurance or technical role within manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid numerical skills and a keen eye for detail.
