Job Title: Education, Training and Employment Support Advisor

FearFree is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Advisor to join our team in delivering services across the Southwest to those impacted by domestic abuse. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our RISE programmes and the development of our service.

The RISE service provides a range of trauma-informed and person-centred support, focused on empowering individuals to access education, training, employment, or volunteering opportunities. You will be responsible for providing trauma-informed support through group work and one-to-one sessions, working closely with a diverse client group to create bespoke action and support plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide trauma-informed support through group work and one-to-one sessions
  • Work closely with a diverse client group to create bespoke action and support plans
  • Facilitate group support sessions in addition to one-to-one support
  • Build and develop relationships with ETE providers and corporate partners to expand provision for service users
  • Risk assess those you are supporting and take proactive action to address risk and safeguarding concerns
  • Play an active role in the recruitment process of volunteers and management of volunteers
Requirements:
  • Experience in working with vulnerable people
  • Understanding/experience of the Education, Training, and Employment (ETE) sector
  • Ability to proactively engage with local employers and support networks/organisations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment

  • Competitive salary: £23,088 - £26,164 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
