SEN Teaching Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Education Assistant to join our dedicated team in supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN). This part-time/supply role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to SEN pupils, tailoring learning materials to their unique needs and abilities.
- Collaborate closely with the SENCO and other specialists to implement personalized education plans that cater to each child's strengths and challenges.
- Offer assistance during lessons, break times, and extracurricular activities to ensure a seamless learning experience.
- Prepare and organize resources and materials to enhance learning opportunities and promote student engagement.
- Role: Part-Time/Supply Education Assistant
- Location: Dunstable
- Contract: Part-Time/Supply
- Estimated Salary: £90 per day
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to meeting the diverse needs of students.
- Relevant qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are a plus but not essential.
- Local commute to Dunstable.
- Holds a full driving license.
