Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Consultant to join our team at Fitch Group, Inc. in London. As a Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for providing analytical research and market intelligence to senior decision makers in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of economic, political, and financial market trends to provide accurate forecasts and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain proprietary data sets to enhance analytical value.
  • Collaborate with sales and clients to deliver key views and forecasts in a concise and articulate manner.
  • Work closely with the Europe Country Risk team to provide regular economic, political risk, and financial market analysis and forecasts.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in economics or a closely related field.
  • Relevant background working as a macroeconomic/sovereign risk analyst required, with experience in analytical writing, data management, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical ability and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to manage own time and adhere to publication deadlines.
  • Strong public speaking skills.
  • Experience with programming languages such as R/Python and strong skills in quantitative analysis, including data manipulation, statistical modeling, and visualization.
  • Fluent spoken and written English, other languages beneficial.
