About the Role

Mainstay Industrial is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day delivery of our Housing Maintenance service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising operatives, ensuring they are effective in their roles, and managing subcontractors to support the delivery of works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations, delivering a diverse and complex range of responsive repairs and associated work streams.
  • Develop the service and individuals to achieve a highly organized operational delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver on customer, operational, and financial targets in line with the business plan.
  • Undertake site audits relating to H&S compliance, quality, FFF, and customer service.
  • Implement best practices to reduce waste and downtime.
  • Monitor jobs per day and trackers to ensure maximum output per trade per day.
  • Troubleshoot where necessary.
  • Undertake toolbox talks and site inductions.
  • Close liaison with the Delivery Manager to manage poor performance, sickness, and holiday cover.
  • Act as the first point of contact in the OOH escalation process.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role of repairs and maintenance in Housing.
  • Experience in managing a multi-discipline delivery team.
  • A Level 2 diploma or equivalent, e.g., an NVQ in a maintenance trade.
  • A clean and valid UK driving license or ability to travel to remote locations without public transport.
  • Ability to pass SC Clearance.
