We are looking for an experienced Primary Education and SEN Expert to join our team at a supportive and dynamic primary school located in Islington.

About the Role

  • Your new role as a Primary Education and SEN Expert will be to support students in Years 4-6 with various needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), and sensory needs.

As the Primary Education and SEN Expert, you will:

  • Work with a dedicated team, including two teaching assistants and HLTAs, to provide support to students with ASD, SpLD, challenging behaviours, and complex needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and motivation in the classroom.
  • Liaise with professionals to conduct Annual Reviews and plan ongoing support for students with EHCPs.
  • Benefit from long-term planning already in place for the first two terms, with a teacher buddy for guidance and collaboration.

**Key Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with previous experience working with students with sensory needs.
  • Proven experience working with students with ASD, SpLD, and challenging behaviour.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage long-term planning and Annual Reviews for students with EHCPs.

**Estimated Salary:** £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
