About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team on Charles Wolfson Ward. As a Staff Nurse in children's services, you will be part of a diverse and stimulating department that prioritizes patient care and education.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective care to infants and children requiring hospitalization, with minimal supervision by a more experienced registered nurse.
  • Assess care needs, plan, implement, and evaluate programs of care.
  • Participate in the supervision and teaching of unqualified and qualified staff, including basic and/or post-basic students.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • First-level registration as a Paediatric Nurse (RSCN/RN).
  • Basic-level child protection training.

Desirable qualifications include advanced-level child protection training, evidence of continuing professional development, and relevant teaching and assessing courses.
