At IDEX Consulting, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Consultant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced actuary looking to advance their career in pension consulting.

About the Role

This role will involve working with multinational clients, delivering actuarial services and providing expert advice on strategic pensions issues, including valuations and funding negotiations. You'll also be responsible for directing large projects and taking overall quality control of technical work delivered to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising clients on strategic pensions issues, including valuations and funding negotiations, integrated risk management, risk settlement projects, PPF levy management, and member options.
  • Directing/project managing large projects, including valuations and factor reviews.
  • Taking overall responsibility for quality of technical work delivered to clients, including reviewing work from the calculation support team as required.
  • Networking within the local market to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Relevant industry experience (retirement/pensions) and consulting experience coupled with sound technical capability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable leading discussions with trustees and pensions managers.
