Cornerstone is seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join their team as a Care Assistant in Clydebank. In this role, you will provide support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

The ideal candidate will have a calm nature, be patient, and possess excellent communication skills. As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with the ladies they support, assisting with daily tasks such as housework, personal care, and meal preparation.

A full UK manual driving license is essential for this position, as you will be required to transport the ladies on outings and appointments. You will also need to be flexible in your approach and able to follow guidelines.

The successful candidate will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and commit to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare.

As a valued member of the Cornerstone team, you will receive comprehensive training and support to help you excel in your role.

Estimated salary for this position is around £23,000 per annum, based on national averages for similar roles in the area.
