Role Responsibilities

The Change Portfolio Manager will be responsible for delivering critical projects within the technology organisation that will enable the transformation and growth of the Energy & Commodities business. The focus of this role will be working across the main delivery portfolios for the change organisation; transformation, regulatory, and change the business (CTB) as well as supporting run the business (RTB) activities as required.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Working with the Portfolio Business Sponsor to ensure proposed projects align with strategic portfolio objectives.
  • Responsible for the Change Portfolio roadmap, encompassing delivery of all associated projects.
  • Managing delivery of Portfolio objectives via the TP ICAP Change Management delivery framework.
  • Ensuring project budgets within portfolio are appropriately tracked and managed.
  • Defining and communicating the roadmap for the portfolio.
  • Implementing and owning portfolio governance structures in line with TP ICAP's corporate governance to ensure an appropriate degree of oversight and control is applied.
  • Ensuring risks and issues impacting the portfolio are identified, tracked, and mitigated, and that dependencies between projects are understood and tracked.
  • Couching, mentoring, and motivating team members, and influencing them to focus on their key objectives and be accountable for their work.
  • Supporting the business through new change demand and the project initiation process.
  • Managing PM/BA resource allocation to projects within the portfolio.
  • Agreeing Business Analyst deliverables with Business Analysis Management.
  • Fulfilling any additional or ad-hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
Experience/Competences

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven track record of implementing, driving similar programmes/projects with a company of the size and complexity of TP ICAP.
  • Proven record of leading and managing multiple projects geographically dispersed.
  • Strong technical understanding, with a proven track record of overcoming technical challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
