Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Lead to join our team in Knowsley, UK. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating our design and construction work, ensuring that our buildings meet our high standards and are safe and functional for our employees and customers.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Overseeing site-based project managers and multiple procurement routes.
  2. Specification development, business and planning analysis, budget development and spend management, high-level project scheduling, resource assignment, layouts and designs, building systems function, vendor engagement, and total project and capital budget approval management.
  3. Developing a network of third-party design, construction & project management partners in the UK Market.

Essential Requirements
  1. Experience in building assets development lifecycle from project business case creation, site selection, project development, project completion and disposal.
  2. Project delivery experience (site-based project manager experience is an advantage).
  3. Customer service skills and a strong focus on safety and responsiveness.
  4. Budget management skills.
  5. Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or related field.
  6. Experience in construction, renovation, and industrial and governmental regulations.
  7. Experience working within both industrial facilities and office environments as well as experience with critical systems.
  8. ICT skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and CAD.
  9. Willingness to travel to other QVC locations as and when required.

The estimated salary for this position is around £70,000 - £90,000 per annum depending on experience.
