Railway Ecology Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Railway Ecology Manager to join our team at Fusion People Ltd. This role is responsible for managing the contribution to the production of sustainability periodic and ad-hoc reports, as well as undertaking assurance activities to confirm compliance with company and legislative obligations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecology, with a relevant higher degree and comprehensive field experience. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the completion of data analysis from survey results to support the delivery of remitted works to programme.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the Regional Sustainability Team with information to produce periodic business reporting.
Requirements:
- Full/associate/graduate membership of Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM)
- Experience in interpreting and presenting gathered survey data and delivering Ecologist reports that fulfil varied remits
- Knowledge of rail maintenance delivery process and completing protected species surveys
