Project Manager (Water Sector)
Contract: 6 Months (Outside IR35 / CIS)
Potential for Permanent Role + Future Projects in the Pipeline

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the water sector? We have an exciting contract opportunity to oversee a critical project for a Pumping Station upgrade near Ramsgate.

You’ll take charge of delivering a pump upgrade project, managing the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of new equipment. Overseeing ecological surveys and assessments.

* Managing the design and installation of three new fish-safe pumps with wall-mounted VSD drives.

* Coordinating structural, mechanical, electrical, and civils work scopes, including minor repairs and temporary works.

Form of Contract: NEC4 ECC Option A.

We’re looking for a strong NEC Project Manager with a history of working on water industry projects, ideally with Environment Agency experience. Qualifications: NEC PM PMQ (or similar), SMSTS, First Aid, Temporary Works Coordinator.

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Project.

* Experience: Contractual focus with NEC forms, especially in the water sector.

Work on a high-impact project with a completion date set for June 2025.

* Opportunity to transition into a permanent role after the contract.

This role involves working in water channels behind temporary works, electrical systems, and lifting plant, so a strong focus on safety is essential.
