Retail Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team at Farmfoods Limited. As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading a small team of retail assistants and ensuring the smooth operation of our shop.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate a team of retail assistants to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Take full responsibility for running the shop in the absence of the manager, ensuring that customers are looked after and shop routines are completed.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop the skills of retail assistants.
- Take responsibility for the control of operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll.
- A friendly, positive, and hardworking approach to work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Trustworthiness and reliability, as you will be an important part of a small team.
- Some experience as a supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or a similar industry would be beneficial, but we welcome applications from those looking to start their retail management career.
- A competitive hourly pay rate of £12.50.
- A guaranteed minimum of 39 hours work per week, with opportunities for overtime.
