Respite Provider Position Summary
Communitas seeks a dedicated Respite Provider to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing personalized care and support that promotes independence and well-being.

Compensation Package: $30,000 per year, plus opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Job

As a Respite Provider, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores. You will also engage participants in activities that promote socialization and community involvement.

  • Assist with daily living tasks, ensuring the health and safety of participants.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with program members and families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass company background and reference checks.
