Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consumer M&A Strategic Lead to join our team at Alan Mitchell. This role involves leading M&A activities within the consumer sector, with a focus on the German-speaking European markets (DACH region).

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying/originating, evaluating, and executing M&A opportunities while also building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

About the Role

This position requires 9+ years of successfully executing M&A transactions within the consumer sector. The ideal candidate should be fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.

A strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence experience is essential, as well as exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills. Additionally, the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders is crucial.

Responsibilities
  • Originate, lead, and execute M&A transactions within the consumer sector, with a focus on the German market.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential M&A opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and financial professionals.
  • Analyze and evaluate potential M&A targets, including financial performance, strategic fit, and risk assessment.
Qualifications
  • 9+ years of successfully executing M&A transactions within the consumer sector.
  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence experience.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in analyzing market trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to M&A transactions.
