Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Commercial Product Manager to join our team at Elemis. As a key member of our Commercial Finance department, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating Global Product performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial insights for new launches, including profitability, viability, and cannibalization analysis.
  • Work with the Chief Innovation Officer to manage the discontinuation process, including low-performing product rationalization and sell-through strategy.
  • Contribute to product strategy through support and evaluation of product performance data, providing recommendations for channel-curate ranges.
  • Own commercial analysis of business forecasts, facilitating General Manager approvals and providing context on marketing calendar and forecasted rank in external sell-out reports.
  • Provide commercial insights for key campaigns, collaborating with Global Brand Marketing and Supply Chain to present a consolidated Global view.
  • Work with Global Brand and NPD to define kits and collection commercial viability, including COG targets and margins to ensure profitability YOY.
  • Support S&OP process by providing monthly product performance updates on productivity, NPD contribution, calendar commercials, and NPD performance.
  • Utilize external reporting to provide business with Elemis performance, rankings, key learnings, and context for future NPD positioning in the Prestige Skincare market place.
  • Continuously seek to improve and evolve product reporting and forecasting as business needs progress and grow.
Requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Product experience previously.
  • Experience in a global consumer business or a luxury retail environment.
  • Ability to multi-task in a pressurized environment.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships and effective communication.
  • Comfortable with large amounts of data and able to produce accurate, timely reporting.
  • Strong Excel skills and used to manipulating large amounts of data into presentable reports.
  • Conscientious in nature with a methodical and meticulous approach to tasks.
  • Proficient in Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau.
