Senior Caseworker for Vulnerable Adults

As a Senior Caseworker for Vulnerable Adults with Kingston, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs. This challenging yet rewarding position requires a highly motivated and committed professional who can manage a caseload, conduct safeguarding investigations, and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of customers with high levels of risk, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Conduct thorough safeguarding investigations, gathering information, and attending case conferences as necessary.
- Handle case work for customers with non-complex needs under manager supervision, providing personalized support and guidance.
- Accept referrals, conduct screenings, and provide information, advice, and initial assessments to new customers.
- Review and reassess customers with long-term, low-level needs within statutory timelines, adapting support plans as needed.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and implement effective strategies that promote positive outcomes for vulnerable adults.
- A degree in Social Work or a related field, with significant experience working with vulnerable adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including Personal Budgets/Self Directed Support and safeguarding protocols.
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- An estimated salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
