Project Communication Professional

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Communications Consultant. This exciting part-time role supports a major renewable project jointly developed to expand one of the UK's most ambitious energy portfolios. Working closely with the project delivery teams and central communications, you will provide strategic support and maintain excellent relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and the media.

Your responsibilities will include building strong connections with journalists, politicians, and community stakeholders, representing the project at public meetings, managing the local sponsorship fund, creating engaging content for the project's website and social media, and collaborating with the project delivery teams and central communications to ensure seamless communication. Additionally, you will require experience working with political and community representatives, and knowledge of the renewables industry is highly valued.

The approximate weekly salary for this role is £315-£365, paid via an umbrella company. You will need to commit to a 6-month contract with a requirement to work 21 hours per week (3 days) from Edinburgh.
