We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented School Administrative Assistant to join our team at Connex Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our school office, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and activities.

About the Role

  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a busy school office environment and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • They will be responsible for maintaining staff and student files, assisting with HR, booking appointments, and processing paperwork.
  • Additionally, they will operate the computerized School Information Management Systems (SIMS) and perform general administration tasks using Microsoft Office tools.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Previous experience with SIMS or similar school management systems
  • NVQ 2 or equivalent in Business and Administration (desirable)
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £92,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
